FireFlink Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
This is the privacy policy of FireFlink Private Limited. We are dedicated to conducting business in a compliant manner and safeguarding the privacy of individuals who visit the FireFlink website or interact with the FireFlink platform (“User/’Users”), Users who register to use our Services (“Customers”), and Users who provide information to FireFlink to register for events (“Attendees”). This Privacy Policy outlines FireFlink’s privacy practices regarding the use of the FireFlink platform and website (“Website”), as well as related products, applications, and services (including support) offered by FireFlink (the “FireFlink Services”/ “Services”).
FireFlink is committed to protecting your privacy rights. We aim to inform you why we collect your personal information, what information we collect, how we use it, and how long we store it. We also explain how you can access, amend, correct, and in some cases delete your personal information.
This policy applies in both capacities: when we act as a Data Processor for the continuous quality testing cloud platform and services we provide to our existing and potential customers, and when we act as a Data Controller with respect to the personal information of our website visitors, email recipients, and personal information collected from public sources; essentially, when we determine the purposes and means of processing that personal information.
The Appendix to this privacy policy includes specific provisions that supplement this policy to comply with relevant data protection and privacy laws. If you have any questions or comments about this Privacy Policy or our use of your personal information, please contact us.
We may modify or update this privacy policy at any time without prior notice. Please check the “Last Updated” date above to see when the policy was last revised. Your continued use of the website and/or the FireFlink platform and Services constitutes your acceptance of this Privacy Policy.
Information we collect or maintain
In general terms, personal data, personal information, or personally identifiable information refers to any information about an individual that can be used to identify that person. In this privacy policy, we refer to this type of information as personal information. FireFlink collects and processes your personal information to fulfil our legal, statutory, and contractual obligations and to provide you with our continuous quality testing cloud platform and services. We will never collect unnecessary personal information from you or process your information in ways not specified in this policy. The term data subject refers to a natural person whose personal information is processed by a data controller or data processor. We collect personal information both directly (e.g., when you sign up for a newsletter, download a whitepaper, access a web resource, or register to comment on a forum) and indirectly (e.g., through website technology or cookies), including from third parties such as public authorities, websites, social media and networking platforms, and suppliers/vendors who provide legitimate personal information. It is entirely up to you to decide whether to provide any personal information. We collect personal information from our customers, vendors/suppliers, prospects, website users, visitors (both online and at physical locations), business contacts, and shareholders. For any other specific data collection needs not listed here and arising from business requirements or legal obligations, we will provide appropriate notice to the individuals concerned about the data to be collected and its purpose. We collect both personal information and anonymized information. We may use both types of information to create aggregated data, such as statistical or analytical data, which we may use for any purpose.
FireFlink processes and stores two categories of data from its Customers while providing FireFlink Services.
- User Account data
- Test execution data
The first category of data is personal information provided by the Customer during the Services, excluding 'Test execution data.' This includes personal information of any employee, user, or customer personnel, referred to as 'User Account data.' This data includes names, email addresses, and phone numbers. The second category of data is information, including personal information, that is stored, processed in, or transmitted via the FireFlink platform by or on behalf of our Customer. This is referred to as 'Test execution data.' This category includes data uploaded by our Customers to our Platform or accessed by our Platform during application testing, such as reports, tests, networks, browser process logs, other artifacts, authentication, licensing, test execution metadata (e.g., test status, duration, name, browsing sessions, search history), and other information provided during testing. Generally, 'Test execution data' refers to data stored or processed for the delivery of Services we provide as a data processor and includes data stored for backup.'Test execution data' does not necessarily contain identifiable personal information or sensitive personal information about customer personnel, customers, end-users, or other third parties. Please note that FireFlink does not collect or require any identifiable personal information or sensitive data by default for its functioning. From a privacy perspective, the Customer is the controller of 'Test execution data,' and FireFlink acts as a processor. This means that throughout the duration of a Customer's subscription to FireFlink's services, the Customer retains ownership and control over the 'Test execution data' in their account.
